Sensie Welcomes Dr. Eva Selhub to its Team!

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Eva Selhub has joined Sensie as a Scientific Advisor. With her wealth of expertise, knowledge, and vast body of research, Sensie will be able to develop more effective and impactful techniques to improve our users’ well-being and reduce their level of stress.

Dr. Selhub is an internationally recognized expert, physician, speaker, scientist, and consultant who has served as an Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She also served as a Clinical Associate of the Benson Henry Institute for Mind-Body for just under 20 years, six of which she served as Medical Director.

The Benson Henry Institute has been integrating the field of mind/body medicine into Massachusetts General Hospital’s clinical care, research, and training programs since 2006 and was the place where the human “relaxation response” was first discovered. This relaxation response was found to be initiated by meditative practices and led to reduced metabolism, rate of breathing, heart rate, and brain activity.

Dr. Selhub specializes in the fields of stress, resilience, spirituality, fitness, integrative medicine, and working with the natural environment to achieve maximum health and wellbeing. She has authored 4 books, is an Adjunct Scientist at the Human Nutrition Research Center for Aging at Tufts University, and is the only person in North America certified to teach the method of “How to Think Like Leonardo da Vinci.”

With Dr. Selhub onboard, the technology that we have developed at Sensie will be even more effective for people to gauge their level of stress and take clinically tested steps to relieve it. These methods will lead to better health overall and more awareness of how our mental state affects our physical well-being.

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Selhub to the Sensie family. We look forward to all the amazing things that will be able to create with her on the team.
